Between the castle park with its rich history and the dramatic Malakoff tower dating back to 1854 in Lembeek, there's a stunning nature reserve with an old Senne meander (fishing) ponds, marshland and fields full of flowers. Over the course of 2022 and 2023, a new nature park will be built here: Zenneweide. This former industrial site by the Petite Senne will be transformed into a green oasis with natural riverbank areas, plenty of spots to rest and walking paths. Perfect for a reinvigorating walk!
